Sistema Project

Ok not sure if anyone is interested or not, but I thought it might be helpful to keep a running tally of how much the project is costing. And to provide links to some of the sources to get the parts and equipment we'll be using. Remember that we are building up 2 guns so prices are for 2 of everything. (Except Tools)

So what do you get for $ 3,020.29 ?

You get everything shown on this website including the 2 finished pistols !! Remember that we started with basically nothing more than a bench and stool. I could have spent 3000 bucks on a pair of custom made 1911's (Les Baer, Kimber, Ed Brown and others) but instead I decided to do it myself. So instead of having 2 custom pistols to show for my money.....I have 2 custom pistols, lots of new tools, new machines, a new workshop, tons of fun and a great education in Gunsmithing. Not to mention the fact that I now have everything I need to create even more in the future.......Come on.....you know you want to try it........ If I can do it YOU CAN TOO !!!
